Delivery/Carry-Out

As mentioned in the "Module Features: Central Order Processing System", RAM2000 was originally designed for the pizza delivery business, hence, the Delivery / Carry Out P.O.S. is an integral part of RAM2000. This
P.O.S. system is unique in its flexibility and feature-rich design, covering all aspects from order processing to driver control. It's uniqueness lies in its ability to be used as a central order processing system or a single store P.O.S.

When activated as central mode within the Central Order Processing System, the Delivery / Carry Out P.O.S. acts as part of the main feature, enabling orders to be placed for delivery or carry out. Features such as customer information database, customer order history, bilingual street searching engine, and automatic order distribution are all part of the integration for central mode.

When used as a single store P.O.S., the Delivery / Carry Out P.O.S. utilizes the driver control to maximize its capability to its fullest extent. With the extra driver control, users can display status at a glance, track performance and transactions, and automate the whole delivery process.

For those who offer delivery service, the Driver Control is the perfect tool to track and maintain all drivers' activities, from mileage tracking to performance tracking. The Delivery / Carry Out P.O.S. is the perfect tool for any foodservice industry that offers delivery as part of their extended service to their clientele.

In addition to the key features of the Central Order Processing System, some of the Delivery / Carry Out
P.O.S.'s key features are listed below:

  • Order Status at a Glance ¡V displays pending orders (with elapse time, address and map reference), en-route orders (with driver ID and out the door time), available drivers in store, and order out time (which also will reflect in the order entry module of both Central Order Processing and Quick Service / Over Counter)
  • Performance Tracking tracks performance and productivity to assist in labor scheduling
  • Transaction Tracking tracks all driver transactions information such as float on-hand, payment received (cash, cheque, credit card, coupons, and late discount offered) for easy cash out at the end of the shift
  • FIFO (First In First Out) Sequence controls productivity and distribute even work load
  • Manager Override Events all unusual events must be authorized by Manager to enforce fairness in delivery sequence. Events such as non-completed order at Make-Line, orders under the user definable minimum out-the-door time, and improper driver sign out sequence. All Manager overrode events are automatically posted in Manger Override Journal with detailed information
  • Driver Information Tracking tracks all driver information such as sign-in and out time, break duration, mileage amount, pay type, paid break, basic salary, order bonus paid, sales bonus paid, and mileage bonus paid
