(CENTRALIZED ONE NUMBER SYSTEM)

RAM2000's initial design was built upon Central Order Processing for the pizza delivery business (the most difficult P.O.S. in the foodservice industry). Unlike any other food items, pizza orders cover a great deal of "special instructions" and "different combinations". Pizza orders can be as complicated as a thick crust, well done pizza, first half with certain toppings but excluding a number of toppings and the other half with a combo pizza (i.e. Deluxe pizza).

Designed originally for the pizza industry with the concept of Central Order Processing in mind makes RAM2000 the most unique P.O.S. system in the market, and is one of the key ingredients in the success of RAM2000. Though the Central Order Processing was initially designed for the pizza industry, nevertheless, the system can handle any food item and menu imaginable.

The main function for Central Order Processing is to off-load the order processing procedure and customer service tasks of each individual store in a chain operation. The purpose is to maximize productivity of the individual store, therefore, improve the entire chain's service quality and efficiency. Hence, the Central Order Processing System integrated the Delivery / Carry Out module and Communication module in order to serve all delivery and carry out customers throughout the chain.

In order to cope with the high volume of orders for chain operations, the Central Order Processing System was designed to be fast and efficient. Capable of operating 50+ terminals at the same time, with an average order taking time (from the time when a customer calls in till the complete order is taken) of less than 40 seconds and the average processing time of less than 2 seconds. The order is then received and printed at the assigned store in less than 2 minutes from the time the order was sent.

Another key feature of the Central Order Processing System is the ability to toggle between unlimited number of companies with the touch of a single key. RAM2000 may be the only system in the market with multi-company capability integrated into one module.

In addition to the complexity of design, RAM2000 was designed with the user in mind, understanding the need and demand of a bilingual P.O.S. system, the Central Order Processing System and all other modules are bilingual in all captions and search engines. This module also serves as the base to a number of other RAM2000 modules, therefore, minimizes training time to any other modules.

Some of the Central Order Processing System's key features are listed below:

  • Bilingual bilingual captions and search engine eliminates language boundaries

  • Multi-Company Toggling one button toggling between unlimited number of companies

  • Customer Information Database all relevant information such as the customer's phone number, name, address, special delivery instructions, comment section and note section

  • Customer's Complete Order History repeat customer's complete last order with details including all items ordered and item details, sales, credit and complaint history

  • Automatic Store Assignment automatic store assignment according to the pre-defined store boundaries and customer's phone number in combination with our bilingual address search engine

  • Estimated Time of Arrival automatically advise user of the estimated time of arrival once a store has been assigned

  • Advance Order Processing supports advance order (timed order) where user can specify the exact time (up to 30 days in advance) when the order is to be processed to the store or kitchen

  • Combo or Meal-Set supports "combo" or "meal-set" items with user definable item selection (i.e. Big Mac combo user can only choose a Big Mac, fries and a choice of beverages)

  • Supervisor Console supports separate queues for handling confirmation and complaints to maximize productivity and customer service quality

  • User Definable Settings user definable settings for features such as: charges for additional toppings, tax rate, delivery charges, service charges, order confirmation handling, write-off categories, promotion counter, and invoice output format

  • Promotion Counters three individual user definable promotion counters to assist in marketing and promotions

  • Time Tracking of Orders complete time tracking of orders in its different stages including time of order, order taking duration, delivery time, order out the door time

  • Real-Time Statistics real-time statistics (such as number of orders, list of orders, total sales) on the whole chain, each individual store, and processing agents. Statistics also include real-time point-of-sales graphs of the chain and store level

  • Automatic Order Distribution orders are automatically sent down to the assigned store and will automatically update the store database to allow for accurate individual day-end processing and reporting

  • Automatically Updates Database with Store Level Statistics store level database will automatically update and synchronize both store level database and central database for up-to-date information. Users can view live statistics of each individual stores and receive updated messages sent directly from the stores

  • Mailing Labels prints selective mailing labels directly from your customer database

  • Historical References all data and transactions are updated in the Historical database for future reference and analysis
